Haviland House is a specialist dementia care home located at the foot of the South Downs in Goring, West Sussex. It was purpose built in 2015 to fulfil the needs of residents living with different stages of dementia.
In 2019 Haviland House was a ‘Best Dementia Care Home’ finalist in the National Dementia Care Awards and the home’s Health & Wellbeing Coordinator won the National Activity Providers Association’s ‘Best Activity Coordinator’ award.

Guild Care positions you to provide effective care in accordance with its policies and procedures, and in compliance with best practice principles. You and your co-workers will help each other accomplish tasks while you get to know one another.
The staffing ratio in our homes is high, with an adaptable team formed around the residents’ needs. In addition to providing nursing care around the clock, we have dedicated Health & Wellbeing Coordinators who provide regular and stimulating activities tailored to each individual.
The role
We are looking for a care supervisor on either a full time basis, to join our team at Caer Gwent. The role of the care supervisor is to be a role model for quality, person-centred care. You will provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to other colleagues. As part of this, you will have responsibility for allocating care staff to sections, prioritising care and overseeing care staff breaks effectively when required.
You will ideally have experience in a similar role and preferably hold an NVQ level 2 in health and social care or higher. You will also have opportunities to cover senior care assistant shifts when required.

Meds competency is signed off (specific to homecare)
First payment (50%)- new starter has completed first 12 weeks with no performance concerns and training completed
Second payment (50%)- new starter will receive second payment when probation has been signed off, which should be at 6 months however if probation is extended then payment will not be received until probation has finished
