We are looking for people to join our teams, we have a full time waking night position available – please enquire via the below email

The Bill House in Selsey is a Residential home on the seafront for Dementia and mental health conditions.

The role will –

·       Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all individuals using our service

·       Maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for our individuals to live in, which may involve undertaking some domestic duties and complying with policies and procedures

·       Assist residents with their medical and welfare and personal care needs and report as required

·       Supporting people with all aspects of personal care where required but always promoting as much independence as possible. Personal care may include: washing/bathing, dressing, continence care, using the toilet

·       Safeguard residents

·       Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way, promoting independence

·       Follow and learn specific behavioural support techniques

We are looking for people who have –

•     Flexibility. This is a shift based role that will include working every other weekend and bank holidays so flexibility is essential.

•     The ability to work to robust, clear guidelines

·       Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a good team player

·       The sensitivity and energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied lifestyle for the residents

·       A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives

·       No experience necessary as full training will be provided
