As a project worker you would be part of a team of motivated and dedicated colleagues providing a full housing management and support service to our 34 residents. Your role would focus on supporting clients to develop the skills to enable them to resettle back into their community following a period of homelessness.

You will need experience or knowledge of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness and the barriers to accessing services. You will be able to support clients with complex needs and address these needs through effective casework management.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about homelessness and who can bring a creative and person centered approach to their work. We operate a harm minimisation model at Lyndhurst Road and seek to support people in a non-judgmental and asset based way.

In order to succeed at this role you will need to manage and plan your own workload and meet deadlines and targets when required.

You will manage a caseload of clients; being enthusiastic and consistent in order to build rapport with them and achieve positive outcomes is essential. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to complete the relevant housing management functions of your role required to ensure the smooth running of an accommodation service. Good IT skills are also essential as is the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
