Proud to Care Update

Many of you will have accessed Proud to Care support services through local and virtual campaigns, individual support on recruitment and retention and through the recruitment website pages.

Due to the Proud to Care team offering a reduced service, you may experience some delay in responses from the proudtocare@westsussex.gov.uk mailbox at the current time, and unfortunately we can no longer offer our matching service offer that has previously been provided.

We will endeavour to respond to messages as quickly as possible and will be directing any queries from candidates to providers through the website advertisements.  We are very aware that workforce continues to be the biggest challenge for the whole of the care sector, and as such the level of importance of supporting providers with this challenge has not diminished.

We will continue to ensure that support is provided through various wide-ranging mechanisms, including newsletters, provider forums, the Quality Assurance and Market Support team, links with West Sussex Partners in Care and the continuing Proud to Care website whilst we review the resource position for this support.
