Field Care Supervisor (Sussex Grange Home Care)

The Role

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are offering an exciting opportunity to develop and manage a team a care assistant to deliver the best possible support to our home care clients. Working with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager you will be responsible for managing your time to support your own team by providing support and supervision sessions, training and observations, managing your case load of clients by reviewing their care plans and risk assessments and combine this with covering care hours as part of the rota (including on-call rota).

The Candidate

A CAN DO attitude and element of flexibility is essential for this role!

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for ‘going the extra mile’. Previous care and/or leadership skills are essential to the role.

A Level 2 in Health & Social care or a willingness to work towards this or an equivalent qualification is essential (this will be funded by us).

Key responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager & Deputy Manager:

• With the efficient running of a designated area (Selsey or Chichester) and the supervision of care assistants
• Make sure that we continue to provide safe, effective, high-quality care that is responsive to each client’s needs and preferences
• Ensure that the team feel supported and motivated

For You

We offer competitive rates of pay starting at £11.80 (including attendance bonus) which raises with enhancements for evening, weekend and weekend evening work and on-call.

Bank holidays have an additional enhancement applied.

In addition to this we pay travel time and mileage (you will be working in the central Chichester or Selsey area).

There are no charges for uniform, equipment or recruitment checks and we PAY YOU for your mandatory training.

We will celebrate your probation sign off with a ‘Blue Light’ discount card.
